Dan Irving
Dan brings more than 20 years of progressive financial management and operational leadership experience across the financial services, insurance, energy, and manufacturing industries. A dynamic operational leader and trusted business partner, Dan specializes in transforming finance teams into proactive commercial enablers that accelerate company growth, optimize operational processes, and drive long-term enterprise value.
Prior to Purpose Legal, he spent six years driving strategic growth within the PEAK6 family of companies. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Finance at Apex Fintech Solutions, where he led cross-functional teams executing valuation and M&A due diligence, IPO readiness, and enterprise-wide NetSuite ERP migrations. Previously, Dan served as Vice President of Finance for PEAK6 InsurTech, leading a 45-member global finance organization across Accounting, FP&A, and Cash Operations, while serving as the finance lead for multiple strategic acquisitions and a successful portfolio exit.
Earlier in his career, Dan spent over thirteen years between Exelon and Motorola, holding progressive roles across financial reporting and budgeting, strategic valuation, pricing, and global enterprise risk management.
Dan earned his Finance degree from the Indiana University Kelley School of Business. He resides in the Chicago metropolitan area with his wife and three daughters.
